Have you ever had something happen to you that could not be explained?
Have you ever heard of something that has happened that seems so farfetched it
is hard to believe? There are many things that happen in this world that cannot
be explained by ordinary means, nor can they simply be explained away by coincidence
or happenstance.
My dad has had heart trouble most of his life. About thirty
years ago he had a stroke. He was in the hospital room in a coma and I was
sitting with him while mom stepped out for a moment. All of a sudden, he opened
his eyes; naturally, I thought he was waking up.
As he began to talk to me I returned conversation, or so I
thought, but what he said made no sense. He said, "Don't let the door
close." I looked over at the door, but it was not open. I told him,
"Dad, the door is not open." He repeated, "Don't let the door
close." Once again, I looked at the door and reassured him that the door
was not open.
But adamantly, with more emotion, he stated, "Please,
don't let the door close." I tried
to reassure him but he was unrelenting. As he began to point and become more
animated he said, "I have to go through the door; it’s beautiful
there." As I turned to once again look at the door he continued talking,
"Its beautiful there, mom and Susan are there and they want me to come
with them."
I began to shudder because I began to understand what he was
talking about. He continued, “It’s the most beautiful place I have ever seen;
the grass is so green and they are waiting for me by the river. I must go
through the door."
I began to understand because his mom and sister, Susan, had
already passed away. Dad was looking into paradise and desired to go to that
beautiful place.
This life we live in is temporary. It is but a fleeting
moment in our existence. This is a training area for us to make the choice to
follow God or deny him. As with all of his creatures, Angels and humans, we
have a free will choice. God gives us this time in our lives to make the
decision to follow or reject his goodness and love.
Comment me back and let me know of a strange experience you
might have had.
