God Has Not Changed

God is an all powerful God who has not changed with the whims of culture. He is still the same yesterday, today and forever. He still speaks to those who seek him. He still heals and loves his children. He will give you an abundant life if you seek him. Matthew 6:33 says, "but seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you."

A preacher facebooked me last week and said that my last post was dangerously close to preaching the health/wealth/prosperity doctrine. Might I remind those who are reading this post that the opposite of health/wealth/prosperity is sick/broke/poor doctrine. Which one would think a loving Father would want for his children? God gives earthly fathers to us to give us an idea of the love He has for us. A godly father will have nothing but the best in mind for his children. Would our heavenly Father want less for His children? Of course not! Those who are afraid to be labeled "prosperity preachers" are not balanced by the Word of God. I do not beleive God is our own personal "Genie" who will answer all of our lustly desires. Neither do I believe God wants his children to live in sickness and poverty. God wants His children to seek Him first and He will give us the desires of our heart. As we seek God, our desires will be focused on Him. In turn He will prosper us according to His will to spread His Gospel.


God is a loving God who wants the best for His children. Seek Him first and He will guide you to the abundance He has planned for your life.

God has a plan for success in your life. His plan is to prosper you and not to harm you. Do not succumb to the lie of the Devil that says you should be poor. Seek your dream! Glorify God in your dream!
