Take
Heart
I
suppose to the wrong person this chapter could seem like a negative chapter or
depressing. Quite the contrary, it should be exciting to realize the times we
are living in.
The
Anti-Christ cannot save a world in turmoil if there is no turmoil. I believe
this shows the last days we are living in. Look up, Jesus is coming soon. In
His delay you still have the power of the Holy Spirit to guide you and keep you
strong.
You
have the power of God to keep the smile on your face ever broader. I watched a
movie the other night called “The Moment After.” It was about how it will be
after the Rapture of the Church. As the Christians who were saved after the
Rapture were found one by one and arrested they went away singing and smiling.
That is the way Christians have to face what we are facing today.
No
matter the times, we are to push forward and persevere. That means you are to
still support your family, work and try to provide for them as well as
possible. You can and should still do business. This is not the time for
depression. This is the time for action! You are free in Christ! You are free
in America! Work to show that you are approved (2 Tim 2:15). Not for your
salvation, but because you want to show the world how it is to be a Christian
in troubled times.
Show
the world a smile on your face. Be excited for your struggles. Don’t pray that
it gets easier, pray that you get better. Pray that God will continuously grow you
into the kind of Christian that glorifies God and shows that faith in God is
more powerful than circumstances.
